Stay In A Unique Airbnb That’s A Shipping Container In West Virginia

by scceu0456

There are plenty of unique, memorable getaway options scattered throughout the state of West Virginia, but perhaps none so private and posh as The Hideaway, a sleek, modern Airbnb inside a shipping container in the mountains of Hurricane, West Virginia.

With just enough space for two guests in this one bedroom, one bathroom space with a queen bed, a small kitchen and living room area, and a superb deck complete with a hot tub, The Hideaway features free Wi-Fi, mountain views, and complete and total privacy.
There’s a stocked fishing pond complete with a jon boat for guests to use, so bring your fishing gear. There’s the Meeks Mountain Trails, which are perfect for hiking or biking. There’s even an outdoor firepit so that you can cook outside and eat on the deck, taking full advantage of those extra scenic mountain views or that extra dark mountain night sky.

Or eat in, enjoying the views from the huge picture window.
A few other things to note, along with a few more pictures of the inside of this shipping container turned posh getaway destination: cell service is limited here on the mountaintop, which is why The Hideaway comes complete with free Wi-Fi.
Also, four-wheel drive vehicles aren’t required of visitors to this private retreat, but they do make accessing The Hideaway, perched as it is on top of a mountain, much easier! Or, let the host know at booking if you are hesitant to drive the steep, rocky road to the top so that alternate transportation can be arranged.
Come enjoy mountain views, comfortable accommodations, a hot tub, fishing, privacy, and more at The Hideaway on Tacketts above Hurricane, West Virginia!

Learn more and book a unique Airbnb stay of your own in West Virginia at The Hideaway on Tacketts Branch on Airbnb. And while you’re here in Hurricane, don’t miss the chance to try a Farley’s Famous Hot Dog. You know you’re not going to want to cook every night!
