Zhengzhou-based startup carrier Zhongzhou airlines has received its first 737-300F  (25998, ex-Suparna Airlines). The aircraft arrived at Zhengzhou Airport (CGO) earlier this week, on Nov. 12, according to local media sources.

In February, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) approved the establishment of Zhongzhou Airlines, and green-lighted the carrier’s launch with 737-300F freighters The arrival of the aircraft comes as a welcomed sign for the joint-venture carrier of Chinese freight forwarder Henan Zhongzhou Tengfei International Freight Forwarding CO., Ltd. and airline directors Yang Zhan and Shengli Song.

Additional 737-300Fs are expected to join the fleet before Zhongzhou launches commercial operations, but have not yet been identified. The carrier plans to operate domestic flights from CGO.
