Some good news on the Vaccine front. Sonoma County is partnering with Safeway to distribute vaccines to healthcare workers and eventually the general public. Safeway Pharmacists will begin vaccinating about 5,000 in-home supportive services workers in the county starting Wednesday using the Moderna Vaccine. Safeway has also been granted state approval to provide vaccinations from 11 of its pharmacies throughout the County. About 11,000 vaccines have been distributed overall throughout the county with healthcare workers starting to receive their 2nd doses last week.
