ANDREW SHURTLEFF/ THE DAILY PROGRESS Brandon Wooten tests the taps at Selvedge Brewing, a Virginia craft brewery focused on unique small-batch, culinary-inspired beers, who is hosting a soft opening July1st at the Wool Factory inside the newly renovated Historical Woolen Mills. The brewery features huge indoors and outdoor seating areas as well as an adjacent coffee and wine shop named ‘The Workshop’ that will be opened on the weekends. In addition, The Historic Woolen Mills is about to install a bridge over the Rivanna River, connecting the property with trails on the opposite bank, effectively opening the space up to the community.
