Shirt off their backs. Supply chain issues leave English clubs struggling to get kits on sale

July 25 – Fewer than half of the 92 English Premier League and Football League clubs have both their new home and away kits available to buy online ahead of the season because of supply chain issues, according to the BBC.

Only 44 currently have both their 2022-23 season kits on sale. Crystal Palace and Leeds United are among the Premier League clubs affected.

It means some clubs won’t have their new kit on sale before the season starts, which for the Championship is July 29, for League One and League Two is 30 July and for the Premier League is 5 August.
