Trelleborg Sealing Solutions has launched the Chemical Transportation Seals-Shop, an e-commerce site that aims to simplify the procurement process for the company’s customers in the chemical transportation industry.
The Seals-Shop “delivers 24/7 access to online ordering of repair kits for valves and other components critical to the function of tank cars, trucks and ISO containers used for chemical transport. The site also provides customers with access to online invoice payment, complete order history, order shipment tracking, product search functionality and more,” Trelleborg noted.
The Seals-Shop launched with valve and component repair kits, and additional Chemical Transportation products will be added to the site in future releases. The company said it also has plans to expand the e-commerce site to include product lines for other industries, such as fluid power and food, beverage and water.
