Logistics Firm Nuvocargo Hires Data and CX Leaders

LatAm freight forwarder and customs broker Nuvocargo has appointed Chloe Wang as Head of Data, while Alberto Castro has joined as Head of Customer Experience (CX).
Nuvocargo offers a digital platform focused on US-Mexico cross-border trade, combining proprietary software with a team of bi-lingual specialists to manage end-to-end cargo movement. Wang joins in San Francisco, after working at Dropbox as Product Lead, Data Platform; and as Senior Product Manager for JP Morgan Chase & Co; having earlier been Master Data Management Platform Product Manager at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In her new role, she is charged with creating a data-driven culture and driving customer improvements, leading a team that’s implementing infrastructure and data processes to enable advanced automation.
Wang reports to Head of Product Anaid Chacón, who comments: ‘Chloe’s trajectory building products at scale is an incredible asset and having her on the team is a testament to our commitment to provide best-in-class service and digital experiences to simplify trade for our customers. Castro joins with almost fifteen years’ experience, leading large customer and operations teams in the Americas, Asia and Europe. This includes work at eCommerce support firms Zubale and Kavak, payments firm Stripe, and four years at Uber, where he latterly served as Head of Centers of Excellence LATAM. In his new Mexico City-based role, Castro is responsible for leading all Nuvocargo’s CX efforts.
