A factory worker died in an industrial accident at the Gerber Products Company Factory in Fremont Thursday night, according to the Fremont Police Department.
Police, Fremont Fire, Fremont First Responders and Paramedics responded to a report of an industrial accident at the factory, but when they arrived, they learned the worker died because of the accident.
Details are limited at this time, but officers say they will be conducting an investigation along with the Newaygo County Medical Examiner’s Office and the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
