TOKYO — Alcoholic beverages importer and wholesaler Molson Coors Japan Co., based in Tokyo’s Shibuya Ward, ceased business on Dec. 31, 2021, meaning sales of beverages it handled including the U.S. drink Zima and craft beer Blue Moon will end once currently distributed stocks are depleted.

The company also stocked Thai brand Singha Beer, among other products. According to the firm, it has halted trading due to poor business caused by the coronavirus crisis. Parent company Molson Coors Beverage Co. is looking for another distributor for the Zima and Blue Moon brands. A distributor has reportedly been found for Singha Beer.
