Hamamatsu Photonics has been constructing a new factory Building No. 5 at the Joko factory site (Joko-cho, Higashi-ku, Hamamatsu City, Japan) to handle expanding sales of imaging and measurement instruments such as digital cameras for scientific measurement, digital slide scanners for pathology, and semiconductor failure analysis systems. The construction of this new factory is now completed and its operations will start in August this year.
The completion ceremony for this new factory building is scheduled on Thursday, July 7.
