Dozens injured in factory blast in southern Iran

A large explosion on Monday afternoon at a chemical factory in Iran’s southern Fars province has left 72 people injured, according to the Mehr News Agency.

The explosion occurred due to the leak of one of the ammonia tanks of Kaveh sodium carbonate factory in Firouzabad City.

The roads nearby are closed because of the spread of poisonous gas.
