Deck cargo lost, coast littered with tons of wood, Russia, Japan sea VIDEO | MARIA

General cargo ship MARIA lost part of her deck cargo, sawn lumber, on Aug 7 or 8, near Preobrazhenya, southern Primorye, Russia, Japan sea. AIS records missing since Aug 2, the ship loaded timber at Olga port, Primorye. She was sailing in southern direction, destination unknown. According to local sources, the ship after accident sailed to Plastun Bay, north of Preobrazheniya, and was anchored there. Ship’s safe, all she needs is shifting and fixing the remaining deck cargo bundles.
Seaside at Preobrazheniya is littered with tons of planks, washed ashore.
