Assistant Production / Factory Manager

Due to expansion Panorama Kitchens are looking to recruit an Assistant Factory Manager. As one of the North West’s leading kitchen manufacturers we have been supplying luxury kitchens to Retail clients and House Builders for over 40 years and have a reputation for quality and service that is second to none. Responsibilities
· Overseeing the production process, ensuring all materials, warehousing and manufacturing activities are undertaken in accordance with the agreed procedures and specifications such that the finished product integrity is not compromised.
· Monitoring the production process and adjusting schedules as needed to achieve targets.
· Making sure that the products are produced on time and are of good quality.
· Investigate reasons and produce solutions when quality levels fall below expectations.
· Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmes.
· Ensure that labour utilisation is maximised at all times.
· Daily tool box talks with the installation and transport departments to ensure all timescales are achievable.
· Liaise with purchasing to ensure all monthly stock products are ordered on time and items for return are returned in the required timeframe.
· Ensure the cleanliness of the factory and ensure all products are labelled as required and stored in their designated location.
· Support maintenance & development of ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System.
· Ensure all factory employees work in accordance with the HSE Health and Safety Regulations.
· Attend and contribute to meetings and discussions with the management team to resolve issues.
· Proactively contribute to creating a good team atmosphere.
· Lead by example and be a role model for your team by demonstrating high standards of behaviour, honesty and integrity.
Key Skills for this role:
· Experienced in factory management and manufacturing would be a distinct advantage.
· Strong problem solving skills.

· PC literate
Beneficial Qualifications
HNC / HND in manufacturing or Manufacturing Degree
H&S Qualification
Factory Opening Hours 6.30 – 3.30pm Monday to Friday
20 days holiday per anum + Bank Holidays, Holidays increase from 3 years service onwards
