As a qualified Quantity or Building Surveyor you will have a high degree of commercial awareness and will be able to demonstrate your exceptional ability to understand, interpret and manage commercial contracts. You will give commercial input and provide recommendations to inform our Procurement Strategy so experience of working in a commercial contract management environment is essential, along with working knowledge of property asset management and maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working on building maintenance projects from inception to completion along with a well-developed understanding and awareness of public sector procurement. You will be able to show us your financial modelling and data manipulation skills and we will look to you to drive added value through analysis, performance management and benchmarking.
You will manage a team of technical support staff and surveyors and ensure asset data and systems are fully implemented and up to date.
