A cabinet sub-committee formed by the Chhattisgarh government under Food and Civil Supplies Minister Amarjeet Bhagat will on Wednesday hold a meeting and discuss the ongoing paddy procurement in the state.
The sub-committee will have the meeting on virtual mode in which other members — Ministers Mohammad Akbar, Premsai Singh, Ravindra Choubey and Umesh Patel — would participate, an official statement said.
The meeting will discuss the effect of untimely rains on paddy procurement, availability of gunny bags, procurement system, custom milling and maintenance at the procurement centers.
