SOFIA (Bulgaria), November 22 (SeeNews) – Bulgaria’s Sea Link Shipping, based in the coastal city of Burgas, signed a 5.6 million levs ($3.1 million/2.8 million euro) deal with Galabovo municipality to act as its shipping agent, Galabovo municipality said on Friday.
The deal was inked on November 7, Gavabovo municipality said in a notice on the website of the country’s public procurement agency.
Under the terms of the contract, Sea Link Shipping, which services ships at the port of Burgas, will be responsible for the provision of ship agency services at the customs, state and port authorities connected with the shipment of cargo. The company will also provide loading, unloading and freight forwarding services for 300,000 tonnes of cargo.
Sea Link Shipping, established in 1992, offers services in the transport sector such as port freight forwarding, customs clearance and ship brokerage and chartering, according to information published on its website.
