Blue-colored dogs found near closed chemical factory

(NBC News) – A number of blue-colored dogs were found near a closed chemical factory in central Russia.

The head of a local veterinary clinic said the cause of the change of fur color remains unknown so far, but the clinic is working on establishing the chemical agent the caused the color change.

Dogs captured on the video have visibly different fur color intensity.

If dogs’ lives and health are not under threat, they are expected to be released after undergoing sterilisation.

So far, despite the huge public interest in the dogs, the clinic is yet to receive any adoption proposals.
