APAC Communications Professional of the Year
PAGEONE CEO Ron F. Jabal, APR was named Communications Professional of the Year by the 2022 Asia Pacific Stevie Awards.
The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards is the only business awards program to recognize innovation in the workplace in all 29 nations of the Asia-Pacific region. The Stevie Awards is widely considered as the world’s premier business awards, conferring recognition for achievement in programs such as The International Business Awards® for 20 years.
Jabal, who also is the founder and president of the Reputation Management Association of the Philippines, bested several other professionals in Asia Pacific in winning the Gold award for the Most Innovative Communications Professional of the Year category.
This is the latest global recognition bestowed on Jabal who was also the recipient of APAC Communicator of the Year award given in Beijing, China and the Best PR Practitioner in Southeast Asia by the Asean PR network given in Jakarta, Indonesia. Jabal won in the innovation in communications and public relations category where several of his clients in PAGEONE also won awards.
Spenmo now in PH
Spenmo Financial Technology Corp., the first complete payables software in Southeast Asia, is now in the Philippines.
Spenmo has been given license by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) as a certified Operator of Payment System to handle both bill payments and employee spend management in one platform, providing an easy and accessible payables system to fast-growing businesses in the country.

Software solutions company Multisys Technologies Corp. has introduced an online store builder called Multistore, which entrepreneurs can use to start their own digital journey.

FAST training center
FAST Group opened the doors of its Logistics Learning and Development Center in Cabuyao, Laguna with TESDA-certified programs to those interested in a career in logistics.

Empowering educators
SES and ComClark Network and Technology Corp. announced that together they are empowering thousands of Philippine educators with high-speed satellite-based connectivity to deliver content to over 2,000 remote schools across the country to improve the quality of teaching and learning.

Union Bank of the Philippines has teamed up with Asia Pacific College (APC) to provide cybersecurity and information security education to these vendors.
Through this joint initiative, UnionBank is enhancing the high standard of information security for its customers’ data.

Complete health protection
FWD Life Insurance is offering the Vibrant Critical Illness Plan, a comprehensive health protection program. The plan includes a cash incentive where one can monitor his health and wellbeing every two years.
One can get 0.2 percent of the benefit amount every two years, starting on the second policy year, to spend on medical tests and checkups. This incentive is offered up to the 10th policy year.
This also allows claims up to 6x when diagnosed 57 critical illnesses (3x times for cancer-related sicknesses, 3x for non-cancer sicknesses, including 3x for heart attack and stroke).
Also, 25 percent of the benefit amount up to a maximum of P1 million if diagnosed with a covered minor critical illness.
