The term “shipper of choice” is used throughout the industry, but what does it take to be a good shipper? Driver friendliness, flexibility, accommodations, efficiency, and low detention times all come to mind.
The Shipper of Choice award recognizes the manufacturers, distributors and retailers who do the best job of keeping the American economy moving by fighting driver detention, providing accessible facilities, and understanding what it takes to remove inefficiencies from the supply chain.
Our goal is to recognize and honor the companies that rise to the level of a true Shipper of Choice as voted on by the industry itself.
Nominate a shipper to win today! Anyone in the industry can nominate a shipper for this award, and there are no restrictions on the number of nominations a shipper may receive.
Nominees must be a shipper—a company that ships goods or makes shipments of goods by sea, land or air—to qualify.
Nominations for the Shipper of Choice award will be accepted until April 2, 2021. The award winners will be unveiled at FreightWaves LIVE @Home this May.
The FreightWaves Passport Research team, which is made up of industry-leading experts in logistics, will determine the top 100 Shippers of Choice from the nominations. From there, a team of independent judges made up of analysts, transportation executives, and industry experts will determine the top 25 Shippers of Choice.
