XP Factory Expects to Report Positive Ebitda for 2H, Beating Expectations

By Ian Walker

XP Factory PLC said Wednesday that it expects to report positive group Ebitda for the second half of 2021, above expectations, as it benefited from the lifting of coronavirus-related lockdown restrictions.

The owner of the Escape Hunt and Boom Battle Bar brands said it expects to report earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization from Escape Hunt sites for the half year ended Dec. 31 of two million pounds ($2.7 million) on revenue of GBP5.1 million.

“We are delighted with the performance our Escape Hunt business in the second half of 2021, with activity bouncing back strongly after the lockdown in H1 … With Covid restrictions now being substantially lifted in the coming days, we have much reason to be optimistic about the future,” Chief Executive Richard Harpham said.
