Four Wisconsin technology companies earned a spot on Deloitte’s 2019 Fast 500, a ranking of the fastest-growing technology companies in North America.
SwanLeap, a Madison-based shipping logistics software company, ranked 15th overall on the list — the highest for a Wisconsin company this year. It grew 6,383% from 2015 to 2018, according to Deloitte. SwanLeap first appeared on the ranking in 2018, when it took the top spot, growing 77,260%.
Exact Sciences Corp., the Madison-based maker of the Cologuard test for colorectal cancer, came in at 117 on the list.
Two Wisconsin companies made their debut on the list. EyeKor, a Madison-based provider of image and data management for ophthalmic clinical trials ranked 299. Intelligent Video Solutions in Waukesha came in at 458. It makes video observation and recording software.
The ranking is made using revenue growth from 2015 to 2018 from public and private technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy technology companies in North America.
Companies from more than 40 states and provinces across North America made the list. Silicon Valley was the most represented region, with 19% of the 500 fast-growing companies hailing from the area. The New York metro area followed with 12% of companies.
