Washington, DC, January 10, 2020-November 2019 sales of merchant wholesalers were $500.7 billion, up 1.5% from the revised October level and were up 0.8% from the November 2018 level, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
The September 2019 to October 2019 percent change was revised from the preliminary estimate of down 0.7% to down 0.9%.
Total inventories of merchant wholesalers were $674.9 billion at the end of November, down 0.1% from the revised October level. Total inventories were up 3.3% from the revised November 2018 level. The October 2019 to November 2019 percent change was revised from the advance estimate of virtually unchanged to down 0.1%.
