Western Australia has updated its procurement policies to ensure state contracts prioritise jobs for disabled people.
The WA Buy Local Policy 2022 ensures local businesses employing people with disability will be prioritised when it comes to awarding state contracts. The government hopes to build on its previous success meeting targets for contracts going to Aboriginal businesses.
