GRAND RAPIDS, MI — An Ionia County manufacturer is planning a $30.4 million expansion and expects to hire 38 new employees, according to a news release from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC).

Extruded Aluminum Corporation, which processes aluminum for a variety of industries, has purchased a 14-acre property next to its plant in Otisco Township, where it plans to build a 176,000 square foot expansion. The company will house additional production, handling and processing equipment at the new facility, the release states.
