Wendy’s has named intelligent systems provider, Advantech Co. Ltd. as the winner of the Golden Link Award for Supply Chain Excellence as an honor of a partnership the two companies have had in the WePayment program, a news release said.
The award is the chain’s top recognition for supplier and distributor partners that serve its restaurants and Advantech was chosen from more than 430 companies for their exceptional partnership, commitment and innovation in making a positive supply chain contribution, the release said.
Advantech and Wendy’s worked together to implement the WePayment program and more recently worked with Wendy’s technology teams in virtual handheld POS and Inspire 50. Advantech works with IoT intelligent systems and embedded platforms.
