Amid the nationwide lockdown, vegetables wholesalers are facing hardships in finding customers as people are not coming to markets. One of the wholesalers from Delhi’s Gazipur Sabji Mandi said, “We have vegetables in market but people are not coming here to buy it, the rates are also going down as many people run to their hometowns from the national capital.” On the other side, the vegetable market got affected by 80 percent as many labourers had to leave their jobs.
