US trade rep. says country recovering from supply chain issues

The Biden administration’s U.S. trade representative visited New Hampshire businesses Tuesday on the Seacoast.Ambassador Katherine Tai visited the Pease Tradeport with U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen and U.S. Rep. Chris Pappas.She said the United States is recovering from its supply chain issues.”I want to make clear that the American economy – our fundamentals are strong,” Tai said. “We are meeting these challenges almost better than any of our peers.”Tai also made a stop at Galvion, a defense contractor in Portsmouth that makes tactical helmets and other military support systems.
