US Foods hires leader for supply chain operations | 2020-10-16

ROSEMONT, ILL. — Bill Hancock has been named executive vice president and chief supply chain officer at US Foods Holding Corp., effective Nov. 9. He will oversee warehousing, transportation and supply chain strategy and operations and safety, labor relations and continuous improvement. He will report to Pietro Satriano, chairman and chief executive officer.

Hancock joins US Foods from American Tire Distributors, where most recently he was senior vice president of supply chain operations. Previously, he was vice president of global supply chain operations at Target Corp.

“Bill joins US Foods with extensive supply chain leadership experience,” Satriano said. “His proven track record of driving customer service, improving productivity, and supporting safety will be instrumental as we continue to build a best-in-class supply chain and deliver on our Great Food. Made Easy. strategy.”
