UPDATE 8:44 p.m.: According to Jill Duffy, Executive Director of Humboldt Waste Management Authority, the fire is all taken care of now. There was no building damage. She said that smoldering material the staff was unaware of from a load brought in filled up the building with smoke, this triggered the sprinklers and set off fire alarms. However, firefighters and staff were able to put out the smoldering materials without any damage to the building.
