University fails to conduct re-exam, students threaten to take extreme step –

Kashmir Patriot

Srinagar : The students of Degree College Bemina and Nawa Kadal Women College are aghast over the negligent behavior of University of Kashmir alleging that the university wasted a year of their precious career.

The students of Nawakadal College alleged that in 2016 the University of Kashmir had conducted exams for HRD material management and the question paper was out of syllabus.

“The HRD material management question paper was out of syllabus and we boycotted the exams, then we formally made representation to the college and university management, but we are still waiting for the outcome of the representation”, said a group of students.

“Due to the negligent behavior of the authorities we are unable to apply for post-graduation course as our total marks for graduation are still awaited”, said a student Qurat to KNT.

The students said that irony is that despite University accepting their ‘blunder’ of setting out of syllabus paper, they are not conducting exams for the said paper.

Many students said that they are distressed as the authorities are wasting one year of their career.

“When world has announced mass promotions and online exams, the University of Kashmir is playing with the careers of the students.

The students have threatened to take extreme step if the university failed to conduct re-exam for the said paper. (KNT)
