Ukrainian design and production company Synergy has completed the latest factory tests for its new modular unmanned ground vehicle Mirotvorets (Peacekeeper).
Synergy general director Ruslan Jalilov said vehicle capabilities were tested under harsh weather, low temperatures, and challenging road conditions.
He added that the platform’s optical vision and communication system “steadily allowed” the Peacekeeper to receive video from vehicle cameras and control it at a distance of up to 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometers).
Synergy said that the multi-purpose robotic platform is ideal for the armed forces since it can perform logistics, evacuation, reconnaissance, and associated tasks.

According to Synergy technical director Kuzma Alexander, the Peacekeeper is based on an electromechanical chassis built on a durable base, allowing it to travel at long range with little noise.
It is an all-terrain vehicle for maneuvering along rugged roads, overcoming water obstacles, traveling through snow, desert, and trenches up to a meter.
The Peacekeeper includes a universal chassis to enable the installation of combat strike modules, special reconnaissance tech, medical equipment, and demining and electronic countermeasures.
It can also carry injured soldiers or transport military supplies to soldiers deployed on difficult operations.
“All these features of the [Peacekeeper] confirm the possibility of using platforms of this class in combat zones and in the future will allow our military to increase mobility and security, as well as be able to use modern robotic systems,” the company said.
