Trade, commerce issues between Morocco, Britain

(MENAFN) Rabat trade and commerce matters were talked about by Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Bourita and British Minister for International Trade Conor Burns.

According to a statement by the Moroccan foreign ministry, the gathering focused on bilateral collaboration and the means to build up relations among both countries.

The statement said that, both counties also talked about collaboration in green technologies and renewable energies, they also mentioned the African Investment Summit to start in London on Jan. 20.

In October 2019, Morocco and Britain signed in London a post-Brexit trade deal that restores all advantages under the terms of Morocco-EU association deal; the deal, which will enter into force after Brexit, will guarantee a smooth transition and keep flexibility of trade.
