Myanmar is currently under unrest after its military seized control of the government on Feb. 1, 2021. Military leaders placed the country’s elected leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, and members of her party under arrest. This has caused a lot of concern, leading to businesses shutting down.

For safety reasons, Toyo Ink Myanmar’s Yangon production site shut down on Feb. 1. Toyo Ink Group announced that Toyo Ink Myanmar resumed factory operations on Feb. 3 and is running at full capacity.
