Thomas County reaches maximum amount of meal distribution for the week

THOMAS COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) — Thomas County School System has reached the maximum meal distribution amount allowed for their system by the federal government.

The county says this only pertains to the remainder of today and Friday. Officials will resume meal distribution on Monday, March 23.

Next week, they will distribute meals only on Monday and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. or until they have reached the maximum amount allowed for the week for our system.

Thomas County says more than 58,000 meals were distributed this week
