“Then another interesting piece of news came from the meat supplier industry,” said Wilson. “A recent study by investor network Fairr Initiative found that 63% of the big meat, fish and dairy suppliers are failing when it comes to preventing diseases such as COVID-19.
“The company said that with three out of four new diseases today being ones that cross from animals to humans, it is important for supplier to be responsible by disclosing information on their conditions and practices, making any necessary changes.”
