The Cheesecake Factory will celebrate National Cheesecake Day with a new dessert, Coconut Cream Pie Cheesecake, July 30.
It features coconut cheesecake, vanilla custard and a layer of chocolate on coconut macaroon crust, according to a news release from the Calabasas-based restaurant chain.
For every slice of cheesecake sold on July 30, The Cheesecake Factory will donate $1 to Feeding America, a nonprofit network of food banks, and it will donate an additional 25 cents to the organization for every slice of Coconut Cream Pie Cheesecake for a year beginning July 31.
Before the novel coronavirus pandemic, The Cheesecake Factory sold half-price slices of cheesecake on National Cheesecake Day, but it won’t be doing that promotion this year, according to spokesmen.
The Cheesecake Factory has many locations in Southern California, including Anaheim, Arcadia, Beverly Hills, Brea, Canoga Park, Cerritos, Glendale, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Los Angeles, Marina Del Rey, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, Pasadena, Rancho Cucamonga, Redondo Beach, Riverside, Santa Monica, Sherman Oaks, Temecula, Thousand Oaks, and Valencia.
