Tekni-Plex Medical’s COMPAMED web sessions: Supply chain risks and selecting correct tubing products

Tekni-Plex will be conducting two web sessions during this year’s virtual COMPAMED, which will be held from 16-19 November.

The presentations will discuss managing supply chain risk in a turbulent marketplace and tubing solutions for critical fluid transfer and gas sampling applications.

11:20-11:50 CET, Monday 16 Nov: Climatic, Pandemic, Chaotic! Brian Clarke, senior business development manager, Tekni-Plex Medical, will detail how global events have forced the medical supply chain to focus on mitigating risks. Actual case studies will be used to illustrate how forward-thinking companies have addressed these challenges. 

11:20-11:50 CET, Tuesday 17 Nov: Tubing Solutions for Critical Fluid Transfer and Gas Sampling Applications. Alex Kakad, global product manager, Tekni-Plex Medical, will review various factors and design considerations that should be included when selecting a tubing solution for a specific application. The discussion will include examples for peristaltic pump, sensitive drug transfer tubing, as well as fluid management tubing sets.
