Task force arrests Kan. man for alleged drug distribution

SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man for alleged drug distribution.

On Sunday, members of the Topeka Police Department Narcotics Unit and the Shawnee County Drug Task Force served a search warrant at a home in the 3700 Block of SE 30th Terrace in Topeka in related to an ongoing investigation, according to Lt. Jerry Monasmith.

While conducting the search warrant, officers located marijuana, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm.

Officers arrested Dustin Lewis, 22 years of age, of Topeka, on requested charges that include Possession of marijuana with the intent of distribution, Possession of a controlled substance, Possession of depressants with the intent of distribution and Possession of drug paraphernalia with the intent of distribution.
