Talking About Death; Amazon Warehouse Union Organizer

During a global pandemic, it may be surprising that more people are not talking about death and their final wishes. Dr. Lydia Dugdale explores the concept that part of living well is “dying well” in her book “The Lost Art of Dying: Reviving Forgotten Wisdom.” And, Amazon employees in Alabama began voting this week on whether they want to form the first union of Amazon warehouse workers in the U.S. We speak with an employee at the facility who has been helping organize the union drive. That and more, in hour two of Here & Now‘s Feb. 11, 2021, full broadcast.
