Supply chain radar: FedEx – Don’t worry about the future… that’s our job.

Coronavirus has seen off much of what, only a few weeks ago, seemed normal. Not least at FedEx, which this week announced fiscal Q3 2020 results – our previous Premium take can be found here.

For some, the commute has become a memory, while in many countries kids no longer go to school. FedEx has abandoned economic forecasting.

Yet the quarterly ritual of dull-as-dishwater conference calls between company execs and sell-side analysts shows no regard for viral pandemics.
