Supply chain radar: DSV, the Cuban revolution, and hundreds of millions of dollars

DSV Panalpina, along with four other companies, could be on the hook for “hundreds of millions of dollars”, following accusations that it deliberately and unlawfully used expropriated property for its own financial gain, and made false representations in legal documents to do so.

It’s quite a case, combining the Cuban revolution with the Trump administration’s 2019 decision to resume a law which allows US nationals with claims to confiscated property in Cuba to sue anyone who might profit from that property.
