To be fair, XPO Logistics isn’t having a notably worse time than any other supply chain company (see our results coverage here), but its pandemic-driven change in tack has indeed been noticed.

A project to review ‘strategic alternatives’ has been binned (at a cost approaching $46 million) while two new executive hires with track records of cutting costs and beefing up bottom lines have been paraded before investors.
