Strategic Procurement Engineer
Invertek Drives is a rapidly growing global organisation, dedicated to developing and manufacturing cutting edge technologies for integration into future generations of our world renowned Optidrive product range.
Based in Welshpool, Invertek Drives are recruiting for a full time Strategic Procurement Engineer within our Global Purchasing Team reporting to the Strategic Procurement Manager.
The Role will involve the maintenance & management of material purchasing system, sourcing new supply channels, driving value enhancement through formal tendering process, reporting on stock quality and stock financial position, procuring capital equipment to meet all parts of the business needs.
A background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a knowledge of Electronic components would be beneficial.
Skills
. Degree qualified or equivalent
. 2-5 years of working in a commercial environment
. Proven negotiation skills
Project & task related end to end competence
