State Supreme Court Clears the Way for Law Firm Trade Names

Facing a constitutional challenge to its rules for naming law firms, the New Jersey Supreme Court has approved a change allowing firms to adopt trade names instead of operating under a title derived from the names of lawyers practicing at the firm.
