Indian Navy has invited applications from unmarried eligible men & women for Short Service Commission Officers for various entries – June 2021 Course at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala.
Openings are available in Executive Branch, Technical Branch and Education Branch.
Selected candidates will undergo training with one of (i) Extended Naval Orientation Course-General Service (Executive) (ii) Naval Orientation Course (NOC) Regular-Naval Armament Inspectorate Cadre/ Observer / Pilot / Logistics / Technical (Engineering & Electrical)/ Education (iii) Special NOC-SSC (Executive/Information Technology).
The SSC Cadres in the Executive Branch are (i) General Service (GS/X)/Hydro Cadre (Men) (ii) Naval Armament Inspectorate Cadre (NAIC) (Men and Women) (iii) Observer (Men) (iv) Pilot (Men and Women) (v) Logistics (Men and Women) (vi) X (IT) (Men).
In the Technical Branch, the Cadres are (i) Engineering Branch [General Service (GS)] (ii) SSC Electrical Branch [General Service (GS)] and in the Education Branch, the cadre available is Education.
Those with BE/B.Tech, MBA, B.Sc / B.Com / B.Sc.(IT) with a PG Diploma in Finance / Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Material Management, MCA/M.Sc (IT), M.Sc (Computer) /MCA /M.Tech (Computer Science); M.Sc. (Mathematics/Operational Research) with Physics in B.Sc.; M.Sc. (Physics/Applied Physics/Nuclear Physics) with Mathematics in B.Sc.; M.Sc. Chemistry; MA (English); MA (History) are eligible to apply for various cadres.
Those who have graduated or are in the final year can apply.
Shortlisting of application for Service Selection Board Interview will be based on preference of entries and normalised marks obtained by the applicants in the qualifying degree.
