Shipping Channel’s Re-Open
This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. Shipping channels re-open on the Mississippi river after a brief hiccup for grain exports. Let’s go to Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to hear more.
Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Dn 37, to finish at 9-01. Dec Corn was Dn 5 ¼, to finish the day at 6-93. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Dn 33 ½, to settle at 9-99 ¾.
Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch – Dn 20, ranging from 9-15 to 9-80. Soft White Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Dec. were Unch – Dn 15, ranging from 9-19 to 9-45. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Dec. were Dn 33 ½, ranging from 11-10 ¾ to 11-55 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Dec. were Dn 29, ranging from 10-65 ¼ to 11-05 ¼.
Live Cattle for Dec. were Up $1.57 ½, closing at 148.57 ½. Nov. Feeder Cattle were Up $3.32 ½, to finish the day at 176.20. Nov. Class III milk was Dn $.27, to settle at 21.13.
