Sennder returns for more in Centrum Południe

German digital road freight forwarder Sennder is to expand its office space in Centrum Południe in Wrocław by 1,300 sqm.

Sennder has occupied more than 1,200 sqm and a 200m terrace in Centrum Południe since January 2021. Now it will lease another floor – with over 1,300 sqm – and plans to connect the two floors together to accommodate its growing team.

Poland remains a key region for Sennder. With most logistics companies still operating on pen and paper, there’s a strong appetite for Sennder’s digital freight forwarding. We have been very impressed with the local talent in Wrocław – we intend to grow our team of 121 employees to 190 people, many of whom are interested in returning to the office.
Krzysztof Koronkiewicz, the managing director of Sennder Poland

Centrum Południe, which is being developed by Skanska, is a multi-stage complex that will eventually offer 85,000 sqm of office and retail space. Construction work on the two-building first phase (27,600 sqm) ended in July 2020, while work started on the second phase – a 15-storey, 21,500 sqm office building – in July 2021.

Centrum Południe is Skanska’s first Well-certified office project in Wroclaw, having already been awarded the Well Health-Safety Rating.  It is supplied with 100 pct electricity generated by wind farms and is the first office complex in the city to have anti-smog pavements made of green concrete. Air-purifying filters, adiabatic humidifiers and a ventilation system are being installed to provide as much as 30 pct more fresh air than standard office space. LED lighting is used in public areas, thanks to which the complex consumes up to one-third less energy than average office buildings. The green area around Centrum Południe is also cultivated without the use of pesticides and herbicides.
