BAITADI, May 7: The local administration of Baitadi district has banned sale and distribution of liquor in the district from May 9 till the end of upcoming local polls. An all-party meeting convened by Chief District Officer Rajendra Dev Pandey on Friday banned the sale and distribution of liquor in the district.
According to Khagendra Bharti, Information Officer at the District Administration Office, the sale and distribution of liquor has been completely banned during the upcoming local level election period. The DAO has stated that the sale and distribution of liquor has been prohibited to make the local level election cl, fair, and peaceful in the district.
