Russia-Ukraine war worsens European supply chain woes

The ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia has aggravated existing supply chain woes, increasing pressure on European companies and threatening the economic recovery in Europe, Reuters reported. The war has especially affected Asia-Europe routes, causing cargo disruption and acute port congestion that could prolong existing bottlenecks, especially for carmakers suffering parts shortage and production suspension.
