Total worldwide shipments and digital sales for Rune Factory 5 have surpassed 500,000 units as of the end of March, publisher Marvelous announced in its financial results report for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2022.
Rune Factory 5 first launched for Switch on May 20, 2021 in Japan, followed by March 22, 2022 in North America and March 25 in Europe.
While we do not know how many copies of Rune Factory 5 were shipped in North America and Europe, we know that at least 127,968 units come from physical copies sold in Japan, as per the game’s last appearance on the Japanese weekly sales charts tracked by Famitsu.
